Updates
Year End Update
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the CPU is undergoing revisions. The initial versions of the CPU did not meet required specs and a complete re-design was necessary. We expect a new delivery of CPUs sometime early Spring 2011.
Beta Testers will be contacted once we have the new units in hand. Stay tuned for more.
Mid Summer Project Update
We are pleased to announce that the GSBarndoor team has been hard at work and is moving right along on the GSBarndoor acelerator project. Within the next two months, we will be contacting certain individuals within the Apple II community that have the technical expertise to Beta test our progress thus far.
Stay tuned and be sure to check your email boxes, as it could be you.
Comments from the world
The BrainSystems Team of Mike and Me have been hard at work gearing up for testing of the GSBarnDoor Accelerator and have been keenly following peoples comments on the Usenet groups. We found the variety of ideas about the design of the product quite interesting and at times even amusing. Also, the number of differing opinions about an unreleased product of this nature was even more enlightening.
It is our sincere hope that there will be this much enthusiasm from the community when the product is released late this year.
Announcing the GSBarnDoor Accelerator!!
Finally, The ponies are let loose! You want horse power? You are fixing to see horse power! GSBarnDoor is the latest in Apple IIgs Accelerator technology. No longer will acceleration require a slot in your IIgs, but instead will plug seamlessly straight into the CPU slot.
Sleek, streamline design means no interference with inserted cards and unbelievable speed boosts of your Apple IIgs to more than 30MHz.
Beta releases of the GSBarnDoor cards will be available to selected testers later this year.
